Because the automobile wiring harness is directly affected by mechanical vibration, temperature changes, scratches, and oil and water erosion, the long-term use of the wiring harness may cause damage to the wiring harness, breakage of the wire ends, or poor contact. This requires maintenance and replacement of wires, plugs, relays, or whole vehicle wiring harnesses. The following precautions when installing the automotive wiring harness are as follows:
(1) The wiring harness of the vehicle shall be clamped with clamps or line cards to avoid loosening or wear.
(2) The wiring harness must not be pulled too tightly, especially at the corners. When passing around the acute angle or through the metal hole, use a rubber sleeve to protect it. Otherwise, the wiring harness may be worn out easily and a short circuit may occur, and the entire vehicle wiring harness may be burned. , causing a fire hazard.
(3) When connecting electrical equipment, correct wiring should be based on connector specifications, shape, wire color, or the color of the sleeve at the joint. If it is not easy to distinguish between the head and the tail of the wire, the test light can be generally used to distinguish them. It is not appropriate to distinguish them by the test fire method. Because in the power supply system, the test method is easy to burn the wire.
