Metal cable joints are generally used with waterproof junction boxes. These junction boxes are generally called joint waterproof boxes or terminal waterproof boxes. According to the number of holes, we also have one in and one out, one in and two out to one in and out of the waterproof box. This includes the following considerations:
1. The metal cable connector is generally mounted on one wall of the plastic waterproof box, so the requirement for the opening is to reach the external thread size of the joint.
2. Consider wiring and opening. At least one in and one out, this involves a minimum of two waterproof joints and two opening holes in the box wall, so be sure to figure out the size and position of the opening and the size of the waterproof joint.
3. Regardless of the terminal block or other electrical components of the junction box, it must be wired through the waterproof connector to ensure waterproof performance.
