Metal hose is an important component in the connecting pipeline of modern industrial equipment. Metal hoses are used for wire, cable, wire and cable protection pipes for automatic instrument signals and civilian shower hoses, with specifications from 3mm to 150mm. Small-caliber metal hoses (inner diameter 3mm-25mm) are mainly used for the protection of sensing lines of precision optical scales and industrial sensor lines.

The application fields of metal hoses are very wide, such as shower water heaters, oil storage tanks, wires, cables, etc. Users are generally familiar with metal hoses, but some items must be paid special attention to in use:
      1. For metal hoses installed on pipelines, special attention should be paid to avoid water hammer, especially for heavy oil pipelines. When using steam or water to flush and clean the pipelines and valves, open and close the line sweeping valve slowly. When necessary, drain the condensate in the steam before sweeping the line.
      2. When using stainless steel metal hoses, it is necessary to prevent the pitting corrosion of chloride ions, and the chloride ion content should not exceed 25L/L.
      3. Avoid man-made metal hose holding pressure to avoid danger.
      4. Distortion and deformation of the metal hose caused by uneven settlement shall be promptly and properly handled.
