My country's first multi-energy complementary and comprehensive energy base of tens of millions of kilowatts-Huaneng Gansu Longdong Energy Base has recently started construction in Qingyang City. The project will plan to build an 8 million kilowatt wind and solar integrated new energy demonstration project and a 2 million kilowatt peak shaving generator set, relying on the Longdong-Shandong UHV transmission line to realize the integration of "wind and solar storage and transmission".

　　 The base is constructed in accordance with the development model of a base, clean, complementary, intensive, digital, and standardized "three types and three modernizations" energy base. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the base will add more than 10 million kilowatts of new power installed capacity, and more than 10 million tons of new coal outbound. After completion, the annual carbon dioxide emission reduction will reach 43 million tons.
