Ministry of Industry and Commerce plans to invest $ 1,600 / kWh on land-based wind power, generating power of 29%, is expected to average annual cash operating, maintenance and administrative costs of 20,000 US dollars / MW; offshore wind power invested 2,100 US dollars / kW, power To 32%, is expected to average annual cash operating, maintenance and administrative costs of 25,000 US dollars / MW.
Vietnam's national energy development plan in the establishment of the Vietnamese wind power development goals, plans by 2020 the national wind power plant generating capacity of 800 megawatts of wind power, to 2030 to 6000 MW wind power.
